Orbi is an abstract homage to my mentor and friend Roger Vivier. The painting depicts Vivier’s playfulness and his approach to shoe design , taking a pose as the two shoes are almost fighting for a position , showing of their colors of orange, blue , yellow and red hues.
Roger Vivier enlightened me for the 7 years we worked together and this is one of the many paintings that reach out to him and that have influenced me over the many years that he has been gone but not forgotten.
