Style , A ribbon sandal done in red and black gouache in a slightly double image with the color red being the dominant color. The red overlaps the black slightly which gives it a bit of dimension and it true to my style of painting. Style is a grand gesture of a sandal in attitude and in stance .

The black background serves to highlight the bright red color of the sandal . the use of negative space also adds a sense of depth and dimensionality to the painting as if the shoe is emerging from a mysterious void.
